A Few Important Life Lessons I Learned from New Girl.
1. -Don’t backslide; backslide; calling and ex after a clean break and hanging out/hooking up with them.
2. -If you don’t like what your friends are saying simply pull your hood over your eyes and ears for a soundproof defense.
3. -Why talk [like a mere mortal] when you can SIIIING your words out into the world.
4. -Receiving a Cactus as a gift means you’re getting broken up with, undoubtedly.
5. -Do not laugh at a naked man.
6. -When doing the ‘Chicken Dance’ one ought to do a peck instead of hand-claps, because it’s more realistic.
7. -If you are meant to be with someone then you will be, it shouldn’t be hard.
If the wine you’re drinkin’ leads you to thinkin’ that you want what we had before.. You can call me. I’ll let it ring and ring so you don’t have to love me anymore. I will keep all those memories of the good times.Yeah, there were some good times. So when you think of you and me, they won’t even cross your mind. I wish someone would crawl back into my life using a video like this. I would melt, and of course agree to coffee.
Relationships don’t work the way they do on television and in the movies. Will they? Won’t they? And then they finally do, and they’re happy forever. Gimme a break. Nine out of ten of them end because they weren’t right for each other to begin with, and half of the ones who get married get divorced anyway, and I’m telling you right now, through all this stuff, I have not become a cynic, I haven’t. Yes, I do happen to believe that love is mainly about pushing chocolate covered candies and, y’know, in some cultures, a chicken. You can call me a sucker, I don’t care, because I do believe in it. Bottom line is: it’s couples who are truly right for each other wade through the same crap as everybody else, but the big difference is they don’t let it take them down. One of those two people will stand up and fight for that relationship every time. If it’s right, and they’re real lucky, one of them will say something.
